The DCBT Summer School hosted by the Donders Institute at Radboud University addresses Master and Doctoral students, Postdocs and scientists involved in research at the interface between biology and future emerging technologies, emphasizing the principles underlying brains and their translation to avant-garde technologies.
Students will attend lectures from prominent scientists in the field of brain research, cognitive science, and neuroscience, as well as AI and related fields and will also participate in tutorials and work on projects that will be presented at the end of the summer school. The programme consists out of a mix of lectures given by outstanding European researchers, hands-on tutorials and workshops, and project work, amongst others. History DCBT summer school
The school moved from Barcelona in 2022 and is organised by the European coordination action Convergent Science Network of Biomimetics and Neurotechnology, in collaboration with several EU projects. For the 2023 edition, the school will receive the support of NeurotechEU, the European University Alliance for Brain and Technology.
Profile of participants:
Master and Doctoral students enrolled in universities that are part of the NeurotechEU alliance, Postdocs and technicians. Knowledge in medicine, neuroscience and/or neurotechnology will be an asset.
In order to apply, you must be a Postdoc or Master/Doctoral student of the following degree programs of the University of Bonn:
- MSc/doctorate Neurosciences
- MSc/doctorate Psychology
- MsC Molecular Biomedicine, MSc Biochemistry, MsC/doctorate Immunobiology
